What's up with me

My life has been and is changing pretty rapidly, as seems to be the case for the last couple of years. I am however very happy with the course of events and thought it was time to let all of you know what's happening.
So, first about my studies. As you know I have been studying English language and culture at the University of Leiden since last February. I will go on studying English language and culture in September, but I have decided to switch universities. I will be studying at the University of Groningen from now on. Groningen lies all the way in the north of the country and apparently is an amazing city.
Also, the university gives me a lot more freedom in my choice of subjects. Considering that I know what I want, this is a real advantage, as I don't have to do any subjects that I know I do not find interesting nor relevant. And I have more time to do subjects that I find extremely interesting and relevant.
Changing university also means moving to the other side of the country. Last Saturday I moved out of my room in Leiden and into my new home in Zwolle, which is at a little less than an hour by train from Groningen. Robert and I are now living together and it's fantastic. Our room is gorgeous with a real living room and our own kitchen. Already it feels like a home. For more pictures

Yesterday I had my last exam of this semester, which means my summer holidays have just started. Sounds amazing, but this morning I asked myself: "So, what do I have to do today?" And the answer was: Nothing! And that's odd. I'm really hoping to find a job soon, as a babysitter, an English tutor or just about any other civil job.
Well, hopefully I've managed to get you updated about my new life. We currently do not have internet yet, but I'm hoping to still be able to post weblogs once in a while. Also, I will upload more photos once I have internet again.
