What happens next

As promised the blog in which I will explain just what will happen with the website from now on. There have been quite a number of changes, although the website's look will remain unchanged as you know it for now. The topics that I will discuss today are the way of blogging, the new mailing list and the archive.
Alright. The new way of blogging. Because I presume that I will still sometimes do interesting things in my life, I will keep on writing about my own life once in a while. Those blogs will be comparable to the blogs like you know them, just slightly less general. A bit of a challenge for me in writing is never a bad thing, so what's new is that I will also be writing about other things than myself. These blogs will be column-like about all kinds of topics. Examples of these could be politics, culture and language, but I won't exclude the possibility that other topics may also show up. I'll write when I come across something that I have an opinion on that I want to share with the world.
As for the new mailing list. I will no longer be translating all my blogs, and will mostly be writing in English, unless the topic is specifically related to the Netherlands or the Dutch language. For this reason it will be possible to subscribe to the Dutch mailing list, the English mailing list or both. If you choose to do the latter you won't miss a single blog I write! For those of you who are already signed up for the mailing list I'll make life a little easier. As I know all of you personally I think I can pretty much guess to which mailing lists you would want to be subscribed, and as such I will do so for you so you don't have to have to re-subscribe.
The archive is where all the blogs that I wrote before the 1st of January 2010 will be stored. You can still access them by simply going to the blog page, and at the bottom of the page clicking on "Personal blogs" under 2007 - 2009. In case you would like to read or re-read any of those blogs, you can do so.
I think this was pretty much everything you need to know. If there are any questions, remarks, complaints or anything else I would like to hear so via the
contact page.
Lots of love.
